CATHERINE (KATE) ASHWORTH

Kate graduated from the European school of Osteopathy in 1987. After gaining experience in a variety of practices, she took over as Principal of an established practice in Chislehurst. To improve facilities, parking and disabled access the practice has relocated to Orpington (1990-2008), Ravensbourne (2008-2015) and Bromley Park Medical Centre (2015 to date).

The Practice expanded to include two further osteopaths and a masseur and reflexologist, all committed to the highest levels of patient care.

Lecture appearances include having been involved in local GP Registrar training, the Orpington Back Pain Association and talks to local yoga and exercise groups.

Kate has completed post-graduate training in cranial osteopathy and is qualified to teach osteopathy, combining practice with her role as a Clinical Tutor at the European School of Osteopathy.

Preferring to focus on the patient and tailoring the treatment to the individual, she is a firm believer in the premise that,

“If you understand the reason for your pain you take the first step to conquering it.”

She takes great care that patients are fully aware of all the facts available, relating to their condition, in a language they understand.
